About Tim Rayner

I dream of a world that is more thoughtful, compassionate, creative and abundant than the one we live in today. I am a philosopher, entrepreneur, author and workshop facilitator. Since departing an academic career in 2008, I've worked variously as a consultant, customer insights researcher, and entrepreneurial educator. I have a passion for innovation and more than a decades' experience helping startups, scale-ups, and large organisations with growth and innovation challenges.I'm currently launching Rapt Insights with an incredibly smart and talented team of people. In 2020, with Dawn Mischewski, I launched Phase One Insights. Phase One delivers human-centered research to companies seeking unexpected insights on changing customer landscapes.Since 2016, I've taught entrepreneurship and innovation at UTS Business School. I currently run a unit on leading technological disruption in the Executive MBA.
