I am the Founder of L1 Scientific LTD. The company develops smart-speaker apps in addition to consulting work in fluid dynamics.Prior to L1 Scientific, I worked as the Chief Scientist at Allsalt Maritime Corporation. There I developed mathematical models for the analysis and testing of the SHOXS system.Before Allsalt, I was a Post-doc at UVic. I was involved in building numerical methods for analyzing the linear stability of internal gravity waves in the presence of shear. In addition, I conducted statistical studies on atmospheric data to determine state classifications of the nocturnal boundary layer.My Ph.D. research focussed on the generation and interaction mechanisms of internal gravity waves. I studied wave interactions in continuously stratified fluids. This involved a combination of numerical simulations, analytical work, and data analysis. I am interested in computational fluid dynamics and the application of advanced mathematical methods to problems arising in engineering and physics.As an M.Sc. student I investigated preconditioning techniques for saddle-point linear systems, and the application of these techniques to problems of numerical optimization.Specialties: Physical modelling and analysis, numerical analysis, Matlab programming, data analysis
