When I was a child I use to pull apart everything in the house from computers, to clocks, to lawnmowers in a bid to understand how they worked. This fueled an interest in engineering and lead to me completing a Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering and later a Graduate Diploma of Maintenance Management.I have since had an eye-opening +15 year career in the mining and resource industry where I have been able to further fuel my curiosity on Heavy Mobile Equipment and Fixed Plant assets and provide significant value to my employers.My talents are in Asset Management, and I am well versed in reliability and maintenance principles and practices. My key focus areas have been Asset Criticality, Asset Tactics Development, Defect Elimination, Root Cause Analysis, Opportunity and Risk Identification through Data Mining, Condition Monitoring and Predictive Maintenance, Hydrocarbon Management, and Maintenance Planning and Execution.Having this experience I believe I have a duty to pass on my knowledge to others through coaching and mentoring, which is something I enjoy.I have a passion for identifying and developing technologies to make everyone’s job safer, easier, and more efficient.
