Worked on a variety of Nuclear and Process projects for containment and hazard reduction as well as general building services for comfort and environmental control.I was temporarily seconded to the Piping department, the Jig and Tool department and the stress department where I have used a variety of software packages.I have worked in the piping section; I produced pipe work and routing drawings mainly for Sellafield. In this position I was involved in the projects from development through to the installation and setting to work. I created 2D plans and elevations as well as isometrics for the pipe routes.I have also worked for the Jig and Tool Section at Morson Projects where I was using the Catia Software to help design and create detailed drawings for items such as trolleys and tools for the aircraft industry.In the Stress department my main duties were checking geometry for calculations used within the documents. I was using the Catia Software to check the geometry of various parts.In the HVAC section I have been involved in projects from conception through to installation and setting to work. In this position I have created 2D plans and elevations, Ventilation flow diagrams as well as 3D models for specific jobs. I have also prepared basic CFD Schemes.In all of the sections I was engaged in project activities which include performing site surveys, liaison with client and contractors, attending progress meetings, producing co-ordination drawings etc. Show less
