After an enjoyable and fulfilling 20 year corporate career I've changed direction to follow a deeper calling to help people unlock their potential.I think an amazing way to unlock potential is releasing what's weighing us down. In the workplace the two heaviest weights I see are excessive stress and psychological wounds.Tailored meditation and somatic therapy are excellent modalities to achieve genuine transformation.

Project ManagerRetirement Benefits Fund May 2012 - Jan 2014Hobart, TasmaniaThe Retirement Benefits Fund (RBF) is a Superannuation Fund with $4 billion of Funds under Management and employs 110 permanent staff. RBF operates in a highly regulated and competitive environment meaning outstanding levels of professionalism are consistently maintained. Projects managed at RBF:- Member Solutions Tool project - A $1.5 million dollar software development project that successfully delivered a web based superannuation modelling tool with different versions for RBF staff and RBF members. The tool includes modules for both Accumulation and Defined Benefit schemes. The Accumulation scheme module was developed by adopting and adapting a market leading calculator while the Defined Benefit module was developed with a bespoke development methodology. This project was considered high risk by RBF due to the complexity of the Defined Benefit scheme and the outsourcing of RBFs Administration function, the management of this project received high praise from RBF executive management.- Member Direct Investment project - This project was tracking well to deliver a Direct Investment option enabling RBF Members to directly invest their superannuation into ASX shares and Term Deposits. The project was prematurely closed (60% complete) due to a government decision to merge RBFs Accumulation scheme. This project had a $1million dollar budget, involved a material outsourcing contract and required a high level of collaboration between RBFs Finance, Investments, Operations and Legal divisions.- Conversion to Unitisation project – This project successfully converted RBFs methodology for calculating Member portfolio values from crediting rate to unitisation. This project was delivered within its $550k budget and involved changing complex Investment and Finance processes integrated with an external Custodian and Administrator.
