As Director of Everick Heritage and Everick Foundation, I work with a dedicated and talented team of heritage professionals. Together, we work on infrastructure and community led heritage projects throughout Australia. I hold a first class honours degree in archaeology from the University of Queensland. I have also been admitted to practice as a solicitor in Queensland. My studies in archaeology and law have led to me taking a keen interest in Australia’s heritage legislation. My research has focused on the ability of contemporary legislation to facilitate the protection significant intangible (non-physical) heritage values. I oversee one of Australia's largest teams of heritage professionals, with offices along the eastern seaboard and in Perth. Our goal is to make a meaningful difference in the understanding and preservation of Australia's heritage. To this end, we are proud to have established the Everick Foundation, a registered charity that supports Indigenous communities across the country.
