About Tim Robinson

I am honored to serve as CEO of Nationwide Children's Hospital, which is one of America’s pre-eminent pediatric leaders. The Abigail Wexner Research Institute at Nationwide Children's Hospital is one of the top five NIH-funded freestanding pediatric research facilities in the United States, and in 2018 our organization had more than 1.5 million patient encounters from all over the world. We achieve all of this while providing more than $191 million in charity care and community benefit services.While I enjoy the complex challenges of leading an elite, academic medical center, I am most gratified and driven by the mission of Nationwide Children's, which is to provide every child with access to the best care, regardless of their families’ ability to pay. Even as we have grown, Nationwide Children’s has remained true to that mission since we were founded in 1892. I am proud of our world class clinical and research programs and particularly excited by our work in population health, quality and safety, genomics and the ways we are changing the national dialogue and breaking stigmas for children’s mental and behavioral health. We have an incredible team of people, 14,000 strong, who get up every day to provide Best Outcomes to children everywhere. When I am not at the hospital, I enjoy golfing, boating and traveling – especially to warm weather destinations.
