Served as Interim President of the Nationwide Children's Hospital Foundation for two years and was responsible for Human Resources for two years prior to that.

Reported to CEO. Responsible for all financial, accounting, tax, treasury, risk management, revenue cycle and managed care contracting functions. Responsible for Partners for Kids (PFK), the hospital's accountable care organization, and serves as Trustee on a number of affiliate company boards, including physician corporations, a home care organization and a behavioral health entity.- Actively participated in successive Board strategic planning efforts over the years with primary responsibility for long-term financial plans. - Developed PFK into one of the largest pediatric accountable care organizations in the country, taking full capitation on over 320,000 lives.- Led or intimately involved in the acquisition or formation of numerous business ventures, in a wide variety of areas, including joint ventures and partnerships with other adult and pediatric providers, physician practice acquisitions and start-ups. - Serves on Board Committee that provides oversight for long-range master plan. Last plan exceeded $1B.- Partners with President in providing strategic and financial oversight of Nationwide Children's Research Institute and related communication activities. - Led fundraising efforts that included the development of a number of new programs and events along with rebuilding the leadership team.- Led the Human Resource function and staffed the Board Compensation Committee.- Responsible for setting strategy for Information Services and data analytics. - Oversaw the growth of the Hospital's investment portfolio to nearly $3 billion.- Successfully issued and/or refinanced multiple issues of tax exempt bonds using a wide variety of structures and interest rate hedging strategies. The Hospital's bond rating was upgraded to Aa2 during this time.- Directed the Hospital's managed care strategies and participated heavily in government advocacy efforts at the federal, state ad local levels.

- Implemented new cash management processes for the system that generated substantial improvements in cash flow and increased investment earning. - Participated in the formation of joint venture surgery center with surgeon investors. - Restructured Hospital's investment management process including: policy development, asset allocations, selection and monitoring of investment managers and implementation of a master custody arrangement. - Successfully issued bonds and negotiated bank loans and other financial transactions.

Responsible for all treasury functions: including cash management, financing and investments. - Managed and maintained corporate relationships with banks and other financial institutions. - Successfully negotiated a large variety of financing arrangements to support the capital requirements of the company including: private placements, multi-bank group facilities, debentures, real estate mortgages, equipment leases and committed and uncommitted lines of credit.- Responsible for all corporate cash management functions which involved the daily concentration of over 700 bank accounts from across the country, credit card processing, design and development of an automated cash management system as well as the purchase of all related bank services. - Oversaw the issuance of trade and standby letters of credit as well as currency hedging strategies for international trade transactions. - Selected and monitored investment management services for profit sharing and 401(k) plan and served as a Trustee of the Company's self-insured medical plan. - Extensively involved in forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis and tax strategies and had direct oversight over expense payables, merchandise payables, import finance and sales audit functions.- Acted as member of transition team for the acquisition of a 180 store chain. - Instrumental in the inception and management of a captive finance company and a number of real estate and investment partnerships. - Actively involved in the sale of the company and windup of affairs.
