Over twenty years of engineering management, process engineering management, and process engineering experience in the oil and natural gas industry working for both operations and engineering/consulting companies. Experience encompasses all phases of project execution, including technical feasibility studies, process selection/development, detailed design engineering, construction support, commissioning, start-up, operations, and asset surveillance/debottlenecking. Technical areas of expertise include process simulation, NGL recovery, NGL/oil fractionation, hydrocarbon treating, CO2 processing, dehydration, compression, liquids stabilization, oil processing, separation field gathering/slug analysis, produced water treating/disposal/recycle, flare/relief system design, and process safety. Managed multi-disciplinary engineering teams, process engineering teams, external third-party engineering/vendor-fabrication teams, and also performs as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME). Recognized as a critical source for technical information and strategies to evaluate project feasibility, implement major projects, evaluate detailed operational problems at complex facilities and analyze field-wide asset optimization. Has authored numerous publications, is a current technical course instructor for the GPSA Data Book Course and is a well-known industry professional who sits as the Chair of the Editorial Review Board (ERB) for the GPSA Data Book.
