Upon starting with Graham I was put into a challenging role of completing a pump station reservoir that was late, had companies removed from the job and an insurance claim from a flood. The job was completed on the revised schedule and commissioned with some challenges. Later moving into the largest WWTP in Calgary in multiple roles with focus being on superintendent and commissioning execution. There have been various projects including a Process air blowers upgrade and replacement, instrument air piping replacement, TEW ring main installation, New Headworks construction, Capacity upgrades, and a new Dewatering facility.

While relocating to Alberta I found employment that allowed a lot of water and wastewater treatment process experience to be attained. Projects ranged from waste water treatment plants, water treatment plants, water reservoirs, pump stations, lift stations, all in new construction and renovation capacity. During my tenure I gained valuable experience as a superintendent with desire to do more and learn more and it was a good learning experience. When supers got pulled to another job, I was completing defects and turning the job over to the owner, while completing changes and directing activities on site in a productive and timely manner.

Started as a apprentice plumber, completed trade school and the 9000 hours required in Ontario to write the exam for a journeyman certificate, before my apprenticeship was over I was promoted to the lead hand position for about a year, this came with many challenges and with an excellent work ethic and desire to succeed it pushed me to want more. Within a year of being a journeyman I was asked to run a small crew on a chiller replacement job in a courthouse as a junior supervisor, being successful it had pushed me to another bigger job, a nursing home in Windsor, as this job concluded, another followed in Waterloo, and within my imminent future I had plans to move west but not before I took over another project that had issues being completed. This project being turned around I knew that I needed something bigger as I had reached a plateau with this company. During this tenure with JMR I also wrote my interprovincial which takes 2 years of being a journeyman to write this, also during this time I was enrolled In night school to obtain a gas technician 2 certification which requires 700 hours of school and practical experience. Basically every piping system that you can have in a hospital, school or nursing home, I have had my hands involved in fabricating, constructing or maintaining and it has taught me a lot about how to build something right so you don't have to touch it again for many years.
