The program consists of several plant modification projects ($10-80M) that require full EPC services: original concept planning, develop engineering deliverables/schedules/estimates, develop construction schedules/TIC estimates, procurement of material/equipment, coordinate with construction for front end planning and CWP/EWP package development. Lean engineering practices and value plus ideas are used to keep costs down while delivering the project on time.•Nexen, Standard Wellpad Project, Calgary, AB – Project Manager for Jacobs (10 months). Coordinate various studies to optimize/standardize the overall wellpad module design to facilitate off-shore fabrication and a ‘design one – build many’ concept. After the studies, transitioned into the DBM/EDS phases of engineering. Work closely with the client to develop the scope of work for each study and stage of engineering, conduct interactive planning sessions, develop estimates and schedules, and write study closeout/DBM/EDS reports.

•Shell, T&I Module Program, Calgary, AB – Project Coordinator for Jacobs (1.5 years). The module program consisted of delivering 32 modules to 3 separate Shell tailings projects. Helped overseeing the procurement of multiple vendor equipment packages (3500HP pump/lube oil skid/gear reducer, 5kV motors/switchgear/VFD, 5kV/600V MCC, 5, 25, 72kV transformer, PLC, fiber optic cabinets, HVAC units, piping, instrumentation…) and the fabrication of ready to use 3500HP pumphouses and the associated electrical buildings and substations required to operate the pumphouse in remote mine locations. Conducted multiple vendor/engineering drawing reviews, extensive document control management duties, coordinated HAZOPS, approved drawings, conducted MR/CBE/TBE/ reviews, and reconciled multiple change orders.•CNRL, Kirby South, Calgary, AB – Project Coordinator for Jacobs (1 year). A billion dollar SAGD CPF project. Helped manage an aggressive modularization plan which included evaporators, steam generators, electrical buildings, furnaces, ICAF skids, large vessel skids, and over half of the piperack/highline for the project. Jacobs procured all the major equipment and I helped managed the POs for several module fabricators. Conducted engineering reviews, coordinated HAZOPS, approved drawings, conducted MR/CBE/TBE/drawing reviews, and reconciled multiple change orders.

•CCRL, Co-op Expansion Project, Regina, SK – On site estimator/project coordinator for Chemco Electrical Contractors. The project was a refinery expansion of which 200 000 manhours were for electrical. Transitioned from the IFB estimate to the IFC estimate on site, managed field procurement and construction, reported to the client on progress/productivity/manpower loading, managed extra work orders, RFI coordinator. •Shell, Shell Expansion-Water Block, Shell Refinery, Ft Saskatchewan, AB – On site estimator/project coordinator for Chemco Electrical Contractors. Electrical portion of the construction of a water treatment facility within an existing Shell expansion. Estimated at 200 000 hours for the electrical portion. Duties the same as previous description.•Enbridge, Enbridge Tank Farm, Hardisty, AB – On site estimator/project coordinator for Chemco Electrical Contractors. Tank farm expansion project that had about 100 000 hours for electrical work. Multiple valve stations and 20(ea) 350 000 barrel tanks were installed. Major refinery conversion project with several units being decommissioned in order to make way for the new coker. 500 000 manhours were for the electrical portion.
