(April 2011-August 2012): I worked as an analyst for the 84" Hot Strip Mill. I created the mill's $100m+ yearly budget, forecasted their costs monthly, as well as performed plant wide financial journal entries. In addition to my mill analyst duties, I performed monthly cost of goods sold, profit elimination, and sales journal entries to maintain the plant's financial statements. I also maintained the plant's finished goods and WIP inventories for accounting purposes. Included in maintaining the inventories I performed physical inventory counts to reconcile perpetual inventory systems with the general ledgers and booked according journal entries.(August 2012-August 2013) - I worked at a plant facility in the financial accounting and analysis group. I generated the plant's income statement for actual and forecasting purposes. I reconciled intercompany accounts to ensure other plant's information matched our own. I was also responsible for maintaining two plant's fixed assets. In my duties for maintaining the fixed assets I booked monthly journal entries such as asset additions, retirements, and depreciation. I was also responsible for a yearly fixed asset audit under SOx guidelines to ensure the assets we are reporting are in place.(August 2013- September 2015) - I work in the internal reporting department with ArcelorMittal. I am responsible for generating a consolidated statement of cash flows for over 15 operating units. I present the data and business drivers monthly to the CFO and the executive controller of the USA operating segment so they can make informed decisions about running the business.
