I am currently responsible for the day to day scheduling of jobbing for multiple CNC lathes, manual lathes and milling machines making parts for the agricultural industry. I play a large roll in the R&D side of the business and also part production for robot jigging and hydraulics. I am responsible for material and tooling stock control for the machine shop and also assist in the design and development of our products. I find the position very satisfying and can be challenging at the same time. I have only a small crew under me but I believe we work efficiently as a team to produce quality parts.

I worked both onsite and in the workshop doing a wide range of tasks from assembly of new machines, ongoing maintenance of harvester combines, in field servicing and fault finding, programming and operation of CNC lathes as well as a role in R&D and product development.
