Project Close-Out Lead. A public-private-partnership. Assisting to deliver the project through its final stages. Deliverables included compiling the significant evidence needed to achieve the two final project milestones, Substantial Completion and Revenue Service. My team presents our evidence to both the client (City of Ottawa) and the 3rd-party Independent Certifier. To achieve Substantial Completion and Revenue Service--the last two of 13 payment milestones oversaw both the Requirements Compliance and the Minor Deficiencies List processes. With regards to the Requirements Compliance process, liase between the requirements team and department managers. Create a set of evidence exists against all 12,000+ requirements. Support the client in understanding how contract requirements were met. With regards to the Minor Deficiencies List process, liase with department managers, collecting a list of issues and unfinished work. Assembled these lists to create a project-wide Minor Deficiencies List. Support the client in understanding which items will be carried onto the Minor Deficiencies List.

Senior Security Advisor. Worked with municipalities, designers and contractors to design and implement safe and secure infrastructure. Performed the full lifecycle of security certification services. These services included: bid capture & proposal writing, project agreement requirements analysis, identification of security and security-critical requirements. Development of the security management and security certification plans. Performing security review of design (architecture, systems, landscape). Creation of the security certification checklists and certificates. Creation, reviewing and updating the Threat Log / Security Log. Collecting evidence and issuing certificates for certification cycles.

Deputy Testing and Commissioning Manager, The project was a public-private -partnership construction joint venture, responsibility of project management for the testing and commissioning department. As the first person hired in the testing and commissioning department, established the department's strategic vision and built relationships with all major stakeholders. Additionally, work was conducted within the LRT's demanding contractual environment (i.e., close to 3,000 pages), with strict technical requirements. 13 multi -million-dollar financial milestones (and penalties) tight budget controls and extensive compliance audits. Chaired monthly briefings with senior stakeholders, including: City of Ottawa. OC Transpo - the operator, RTM - the maintainer, client consultants, and the independent certifier. Reported and assessed schedule adherence, demonstrated testing progress, updated on operational successes and closed out icon items from previous meetings. From our client and senior colleagues, received regular feedback on the efficiency, clarity and professionalism with which these briefings were conducted. The plan and strategy developed allowed the department to begin safely operating and testing the railway in its infancy.

Systems Engineer. As security/risk management were paramount, everything was structured to ultimately demonstrate to the Canadian Navy (the client) that the contract requirements were fulfilled. This project developed a strong foundation in contract requirements management. Responsibilities included testing combat-management systems at four different project sites, including aboard the HMCS Halifax. Through successful testing (including extensive integration and debugging) these systems in the fleet are currently fully operational.

Systems Engineer. Designed, implemented and tested four software subsystems used in the Canadian Air Force Aurora aircraft training simulator. Managed and implemented a project that fixed a critical systems integration problem with a new surveillance system of the Canadian Air Force Aurora aircraft. This solution is currently in use in the fleet.
