FitPay (now part of Garmin) is a Boulder based startup that enables contactless payments on wearable devices from companies such as Garmin and Swatch. My contributions include design, implementation, and deployment of scalable, easy-to-use client REST APIs, partner integrations with credit card networks, mobile SDK definition and implementation, development of client reference applications. As with any small, fast-moving endeavor there is a lot of jumping in to solve problems and issues as they present themselves. These efforts span the development, build, test, and deployment landscapes. First payment accepted November, 2016 - one year from development start.

Delivered secure custom payment solutions via web and batch services. These implemented custom client interfaces and business with the overall goals of providing easy to use integrations that increase security and reduce PCI/DSS scope. Created an encrypted streaming Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) service using Spring Batch for transferring credit card information between systems
