I like to support local businesses where possible and through lockdown contributed significant effort to helping a local grocer to move their business from market to online and set up local delivery services through a Shopify store and checkout.Developing bespoke solutions to create Shopify products more easily through a custom backend that allows a designer to upload images and using naming conventions on the images, turn them into a Shopify product with variants. Developed API apps to work as a headless CMS to add content to newly created or updated products. Developed a Shopify App called 'Simple Order Tags' that uses order hooks from Shopify to simplify the tagging process with a library of predefined tags. I tried to complete this project in a two week build sprint, and ultimately achieved the MVP in 4 weeks dev.

Working within a busy branding design company based in London, my role during the short contract I had with the company was initially to assist with the finishing of previous development projects, I quickly began to make headway on long standing bugs and streamlining pre-existing code snippets both for clients and internal services. I developed a LTV system utilising Python and Panda's through the Shopify API to create complex data analysis over thousands of orders to establish individual cohorts and then track the LTV of these cohorts through future months to track the effectiveness of a brand's products. There was further development planned on this project and I was due to start implementing an API system that I had scoped out from the reference materials when the company unexpected went into administration.
