My self-summaryI'm a 25 year old web developer and have been so for over 8 years. I started as a freelancer and that brought full-time employment opportunities. I love to code and when I'm not in front of my computer I spend time with my wife, writing, and playing card games.What I’ve worked onI've worked on and managed over 50 websites. All of them have been PHP based with a MySQL database for storing and retrieving content dynamically.Aside from web development, I've built all the desktop computers I use at home myself. I even compiled my own Linux system once just for fun.Side ProjectsMy pet project is CastlevanAI. It's a learning program based on neural networks and it will eventually teach itself to play a video game, Castlevania. It's coded in Lua and once I'm familiar with how RAM addresses work in an emulator I'll get it finished.I’m really good atPersistence and debugging. I love problem solving and I'll stick with an issue until I've got it solved.Learning. I'm a quick learner and I'll often pick up learning a new programming language for fun. I'm used to managing a large number of projects at once and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines. I worked from home for several years and that helped increase my time and work management skills.What I’m looking to do nextI'm willing to do and learn anything. I'm always up for a challenge and I can pick up a new programming language fairly quickly. I'm interested in a job with room for growth and learning. I would love to work in an environment with other developers as in all my past jobs I've been the sole developer and I believe you can accomplish a lot more through collaboration.
