Electrical Engineering Manager
Current• Lead for the ASI Avionics/Electrical Engr Team which includes a team of professional electrical engineers that provide engineering, life-cycle analysis, & maintenance planning support for various Fleet Support Teams (FSTs) & Maintenance, Repair, & Overhaul (MRO) activities at FRCSE. ASI support for these gov't activities includes fleet & repair support for in-service/acquisition aircraft, weapon systems, and modification programs assigned to each FRCSE activity by NAVAIR. • Hold team meetings to ensure product deliveries remain on schedule, to identify and overcome obstacles/barriers encountered, to provide direction/guidance to the team, to provide status of ASI plans/initiatives to the team & to monitor/promote overall team satisfaction. Coach/mentor new hires & junior engineers.• Review team work in progress to ensure technical adequacy, adherence to engineering standard practices & processes, & overall quality of products delivered to customers. Monitor status of on-going work to ensure products are delivered in accordance with customer defined schedules.• Provide avionics/electrical inputs needed for ASI responses to RFIs/RFPs and also participate on proposal team review boards .• Screen resumes to identify potential candidates for new avionics/electrical engineering positions at ASI & conduct candidate interviews when required. Also provide "on boarding" briefs for all EE new hires and assist them with acquiring government credentials & with establishing accounts.
