I was Council’s Development Planner for several significant developments in the Pine Rivers “Northern Growth Corridor” (Mango Hill) – the Future Urban zoned greenfield land located outside of Council’s infrastructure headworks areas – most notably the Halpine Lakes (by AV Jennings), Capestone (by Urbex) and Park Vista (by Villa World) estates. I assistsed in undertaking critical reviews and analysis of the draft Pine Rivers Planning Scheme codes prior to the adoption of the PineRiversPlan 2006; and I was active within internal working groups to align and standardise Development Assessment processes and documentation between the former Pine Rivers Shire, Caboolture Shire and Redcliffe City Council after the formation of the Moreton Bay Regional Council.
