As a senior consultant I am deployed across the clients of Sewells Australia and Sewells Group, in such a way that my subject matter expertise is best used. This would be in the area of Business Management, and areas relating to Dealership performance enhancement.I have been given a lot of freedom for managing the Sewells suite of services within our clients, and as projects come about I have been tasked with varying levels of responsibility within these projects. Because Sewells differentiates itself by its integrated offer to its clients, my role is cementing relationships and communicating the franchise development model within projects underway which is important. A deep understanding of the functional areas of Sales, Service and Parts is important for success in this role.The essence of the Sewells position is that of a complete services supplier, which I have been a key part of developing and tailoring development and performance solutions for the clients and their Dealers. There have also been projects within the Asia Pacific and India clients as well. The full suite of financial performance enhancement, financial reporting and benchmarking, training, recruitment and HR services and customer satisfaction solutions which are provided by Sewells is typically tailored for our clients, wherever they may be. I have a keen appreciation of the performance enhancement development model which I have shared with my clients.

This position manages a department that prepares key information (including all management accounting requirements) for use by senior management, the Hatfield Holdings Board and shareholders. Fully integrated with the operations, the role co-ordinates group wide consulting, forecasting, analysis and reporting processes and supports both financial and operations functions with their business information needs. The position interacts directly with senior managers / executive directors in all functional areas and requires a broad scope of experience as well as effective communication skills. In addition the position establishes policy and best practices across the Hatfield Motor Retail group with respect to preparation, analysis and the effective utilisation of information. Core responsibilities include:• Effective analysis and reporting of information, as well as early identification of trends and highlighting of risks and possible impact on future earnings;• Provision of ad-hoc consultation, analysis and advice as required at a group central and at a decentralized operational level;• Financial modeling & business viability studies;• Maintain and develop systems and processes to enable delivery;• Contribute to ongoing improvement and development of information management.• Preparation of monthly board management accounts pack.• Formulate & prepare annual budget packs.• Oversee all statutory returns.• Company secretarial functions

Responsible for the overall management and leadership of the dealership and it’s components, implementing and maintaining strategic plans and policies.Ensuring maximum productivity and profitability of the dealership whilst giving total customer satisfaction. Managing the cash flow and assets in line with budgeted requirements ensuring satisfactory return on investments. Maximising dealership profitability through the sale of vehicles, vehicle associated products, parts and labour.

Improve Dealer financial performance, through a process of analyzing Dealer financial performance, consulting with the management of underperforming Dealers, developing corrective action plans and monitoring progress against action plans to ensure a financially strong Dealer Organization, which will improve vehicle sales, market share, customer satisfaction and Dealer satisfaction, in turn protecting Volkswagen interests.
