Lead on the production and implementation of the Operational and Business & Development Plans for the Parks providing direction and leadership for the Parks management. To direct line manage 5-6 staff with wider teams of up to 40 plus contractors, consultants and volunteers. To set the direction and lead the change in culture of the Parks management team and staff to develop and sustain a commercial approach to the management of the Parks that will secure their long term future. Both Queen Elizabeth and Staunton are coming to the end of major capital programmes (ending 2020-21), at £2 million and £5 million respectively and are targeted at becoming significant visitor attractions, conservation and heritage hubs, and being budget neutral.
