• Identified root causes related to consumer complaints, retail defectives, and warranty claims. Helped introduce quality improvement projects and worked directly with factories to implement corrective action. Resolved multiple issues and gained valuable project management skills by working directly with factories located in China.• Gained valuable experience working with ASTM, ANSI, ISO, and international consumer product standards. Became familiar with testing criteria for toys sold in both the United States and Europe. Shared my knowledge of various standards with the Product Development team in order to ensure designs were safe.• Created BOM's and exploded views for several product assemblies, comprised of injection molded, blow molded, rotational molded, and extruded plastic parts. Ensured that multiple suppliers had updated BOM’s and corresponding parts that met Radio Flyer standards, from both a dimensional and quality perspective.• Learned basic principles associated with rotational, blow, and injection molding. Visited manufactures and gained hands on experience.
