We are a Mental Health facility with inpatient and outpatient care. We serve the Veteran population with a Community Living Center that has a Hospice wing for Palliative care. We also have a population of Homeless Veterans who are in extended programs to help with PTSD and other challenges from being deployed. The chaplain department enjoys being able to assist in group work such as Spirituality Group, PTSD, and individual care throughout the campuses at three different locations. We provide worship services that are ecumenical in the chapel as well in the Mental Health area. This atmosphere provides a wealth of experience in the culture of our service men and women that most Clergy would never have been exposed to. Personally, I find this a humbling experience to serve those who have given so much for us and our country and just want to find a way to assimilate back into the world that they find forever changed for themselves. For them, the military gave them purpose and value. Many redeploy over and over just to find the bond of kinship that they do not have in the civilian world.Some carrying the battle scars of many of those friends who are like family that are killed in battle or have memories that forever will change how they view life.

Care provided through personal care presence to include:Cardiac intensive unit,Cardio step down unit, Intensive-care for surgical unit,Telemetry unit for monitored care,Mental health at Bradley Center doing spirituality care groups,on-call rotation,renal and dialysis care patients and neurology,collaboration with staff through interdisciplinary meetings. Finished a 3 Unit CPE Residency.

Provided spiritual care to the patients of Dale County upon request:Spiritual Assessment, Care Planning,Interdisciplinary meeting to provide holistic care,supporting staff in education on Bereavement concerns, Support Groups,Complete Bereavement assessments and follow for 13 months after a loss with personal visits and education.
