I was tasked to present an operations manual for units to control costs in the areas of labor control, inventory control, and maintaining employee satisfaction at the only meeting of all senior management in the United States in Morristown. While at Microsoft I was tasked to assist in working with other directors in while supervising my own staff of 42 in day to day operations. This position gave me experience in working with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds and allowed me to develop strong verbal and written communication skills and developing team building skills. I catered many events for the Microsoft employees in the operations. I was chosen to lead the staff in the premier unit on the Microsoft Campus. It was one of only fifteen in the country that was labeled a center for excellence. My duties were to train all managers coming into the Microsoft Campus and other unites in the western Washington district in all operational aspects. The benefit of working in this environment has given me the ability to lead and inspire associates to perform to their greatest potential. In addition, this position required me to develop skills in multi-tasking and prioritizing projects based on deadlines and emergent needs.
