Special investigators received specialized training, and a victims advocate position was created to help victims navigate the legal process while providing needed resources.

• Served as the Professional Standards Manager, ensuring compliance with Uniform Crime Reporting, the Clery Act, and Policy Administration. I am also serving as the Internal Affairs Officer for the department.• Served as the Emergency Operations Coordinator and Compliance Manager for the department. Due to the local chemical industry and our proximity to the Gulf of Mexico, Lamar is in an active disaster area. I am responsible for policy, preparedness, and training related to emergency operations including active shooter. I have completed FEMA certifications for the position. As the Compliance Manager I am responsible for ensuring departmental policies are relevant and meet state and federal standards. I am also responsible for Uniform Crime, and Clery reporting, along with ensuring we are Title IX compliant.• As the Operations Security Manager I handled security contracts for all residence halls at Lamar with an on campus resident population of over three thousand students. I was responsible for ensuring all alarm systems, as well as on campus camera system of over five hundred cameras, remain operational. Also assisted in department communications, special events operational planning, fleet management, investigations, crime prevention programs, and emergency management planning• Served as the Police Operations Commander. Managed all aspects of patrol operations including, Criminal Investigations, Training, Communications, Fleet Management, and Special Events. • Served as the Patrol Commander. Managed all aspect of patrol for all three shifts including patrol sergeants, and patrolmen.

• Managed Department of Defense Contracts associated with software development and implementation of systems designed to standardize quality inspection programs for military equipment, vehicles, and aircraft.• Project lead and liaison between the corporate office and military/civilian personnel on installations.• Manage work flow and ensure projects are on schedule for final deadlines.

• Managed the Criminal Justice Institute Support Services and the agency library. Oversees the production of printed course materials and oversees the scheduling and setup of CJI facilities for institute staff, instructors, and members of the law enforcement community.• Provided logistical support for CITE program activities, preparation of classroom materials, and problem resolution to ensure program effectiveness.• Responsible for cultivating relationships with tribal entities regarding tribal technology Projects. Coordinates communication, site visits, meetings, and work schedules for tribal technology projects. Works as a liaison between the CITE Program Coordinator, staff, and the participating tribal agencies. Meets with federal agency personnel to discuss agency needs in determining needs for future grant funding opportunities. Conducts presentations for federal agencies and tribal personnel on the importance of information sharing as well as programs offered by the institute.• Developed, wrote and edited course material and initiated preparation of all student materials, support documents, electronic materials, and other course and instructor materials.

• Served as the fraud and theft investigator for the southern region of Puget Sound. Responsible for the handling of all theft claims and for the resolution of all claims that were identified as having possible fraud indicators. Met with involved parties, took recorded statements on all files, inspected vehicles if possible, canvassed associated locations and made recommendations on the disposition of claims. Once a resolution was determined, claims were paid or denied accordingly.

• Handled every aspect of automobile claims, including the initial incident report, recorded statements, coverage investigations, and final coverage decisions to determine if losses would be covered. Once coverage decisions were made claims were paid or denied accordingly.

• Responsible for the law enforcement and criminal investigations of university property and surrounding area• Responsible for the planning and coordination of safety and crime prevention programs for the university. Handled all aspects of criminal investigations from crime scene investigations, interviews, affidavits, issuance of warrants, and court disposition.
