Both internally and externally focused. Internally, ensuring adherence to governance through facilitating qualification, approval to bid, mid-point reviews and obtaining authorisation to proceed. Externally, build contact plans, agree and produce closure plans and facilitating key meetings as required.

In this role I built the financial outputs to support our many bid/tender opportunities, this involved understanding the costs inputs to produce a P&L to meet the win price, but which was also both profitable for BT and cost effective for the customer. With sound Commercial awareness and a good understanding of regulatory issues, I was able to effectively communicate bid progress directly and honestly within the team and at a senior level.

The position entailed answering customer’s enquiries and complaints, quickly and in a quality manner to maintain customer satisfaction and enhance customer perception. Essential requirements were excellent problem solving, written and oral skills. I liaised with both internal and external customers, effectively and in a professional manner, prioritising work so that Customer timescales were met and/or improved upon.
