- Started in October 1995 with Control Union Belgium as inspector of agricultural commodities (grains, agri by-products and sugar, mineral ores and fertilizers) in the ports of Antwerp and Ghent;- Chemist and laboratory manager in the company's Antwerp based Sugarlab; - Quality Manager of the Belgian branches of Peterson and Control Union;- Quality Manager at the company's main group laboratory, TLR in Rotterdam;- Strong international focus as member of the Risk, Competence and Compliance Team;- Broad experience in quality management systems: ISO 9001, ISO 17020, ISO 17025 and ISO 14000; - Since May 2020, chairman of the newly formed Global Laboratories Team, and aiming at giving a push to our worldwide testing ambitions.- Frequent speaker on sugar quality and analyses at international sugar trade conferences (e.g. Refined Sugar Association seminar London in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2019, Kingsman Sugar Conference Geneva in 2011 and guest lecturer at the Russian Academy of Foreign Trade in Moscow in 2006).- Available to act as sugar quality expert in arbitration cases.- A "life-long learner" and passionate about science.
