Fusion Systems is a systems integrator that sells technology solutions to the commercial printing market. During my time with Fusion Systems, I have been responsible for the concept and development of several products or product enhancements that have helped sustain and grow our business.My responsibilities at Fusion Systems included: • Developing/managing program schedules, defining key milestones and deliverables, and assisting in prioritizing and coordinating resources to deliver on program commitments.• Developing tools for KPI metrics visualization of performance data for outside clients.• Conducting product presentations and demonstrations to customers and end-users.• Designing interactive virtual product experience demonstrations.• Maintaining development environments on Mac OS X, Linux, and Windows.

Silicon Graphics is a computer systems manufacturer that specializes in high performance computing. In my role as a Managed Services Engineer I was responsible for managing a territory which included Washington and Oregon. I provided technical sales assistance internally for our sales staff and developed technical and business relationships with the regional customer base. I also performed post-sales technical services, including systems administration, performance tuning, and SAN and RAID storage installation, configuration, and management.

As as Systems Engineer, I was responsible for maintaining good working relationships with SGI's Channel Partners. This involved a wide range of activities from answering the day-to-day questions about products, programs, promotions, etc. to meeting directly with resellers and customers to discuss technology directions and business objectives. Other responsibilities included:• Educating Channel Partners on SGI's product offerings. This normally included product presentations with follow-on discussions about technical specifications and functionality.• Making joint sales calls together with Channel Partners to customers, in order to answer technical questions, move the sales cycle forward, and foster a working partnership between all parties.• Assisting resellers with the technical configurations of SGI systems, including storage, desktop, Linux and IRIX servers, and high-end graphics systems.• Working on an as-needed basis with local resellers and customers to perform installations and resolve technical problems.

As Product Development Manager I manage the development process of our various technologies, including plugins for our Fusion Harlequin RIP. This involves working with customers to understand real world production challenges, and translating these needs into technical requirements for our programmers. I also write the user manuals for our products and create installers for Mac OS X and Windows.In addition to these responsibilities, I also work with customers directly to configure, install and support our workflow systems.
