My working life has been within the wine industry, from retail stores, wineries, cellardoor experience and vineyard. I have been apart of the wine industry since 2007, working in Gisborne, Nelson, Hawkes Bay and recently Blenheim. My skills range from: - sales in customer facing retail- organisation in wholesale- general winemaking tasks- staff training and management- health and safety. I am well developed in my interpersonal skills, big picture thinking, attention to detail, time management, reliability and communication. I have a variety of more practical skills which include; operating various types of machinery, including forklifts, tractors, quad bikes, all types of liquid related pumps, a variety of filters and general winery equipment.My background from high school was a year working as a mechanic - primarily due to my ability to work with machines and understanding of how most things work.I have experience operating bottling lines, canning lines, working with small amateur brewing equipment, and cider making on a small scale. My ability to adapt to these different products comes naturally, as I have good general abilities to move between, and understand how various things work.
