    I was the lead geologist of a regional assessment of the Central Graben, U.K. I was responsible for regional and prospect scale seismic mapping at the Tertiary, Cretaceous, and Jurassic Play levels on multiple 3D datasets. I created a new play focused workflow for Well Success-Failure Analysis, which was adopted by the company, and ran all wells within the study area through it. I contributed to multiple application in the 26th U.K. licensing round which resulted in the capture of several blocks. I was also responsible for maturation of Tertiary and Jurassic aged prospects in the newly acquired licenses.

    I was the lead geologist of a ground up regional technical assessment of West Africa (Sierra Leone, Liberia, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, Benin). I performed regional horizon mapping on 2D seismic data, created reservoir, source, and seal distribution maps, all of which fed into regional CRS maps. The regional study underpinned the strategic direction of our West African new ventures activity and high grading of exploration acreage.

    I was relocated to London, U.K. as part of my developmental rotation to work as part of the Nexen Norway New Venture group. I contributed to the geoscience assessments and compilation of applications for licenses in the APA 2009, APA 2010, and 21st Norway Licensing rounds.

I worked on the Norwegian APA 2008 and the 20th Licensing Rounds as part of a new ventures exploration team which successfully submitted 10 applications for Norwegian explorations licenses in 2008.
