I manage the dam safety program of all the Water Agency's inventory of dams to include New Bullards Bar Dam, the 5th tallest dam in the country.

I am responsible for development and implementation of the California High Speed Rail Authority’s (CHSRA) Quality Management System. I work cross functionally through a variety of organizations to review quality documents; develop, schedule, and conduct quality audits procedures in accordance with ISO 19011 standards; and help quickly resolve conflicts and findings as they arise. I also assisted in the development of the Master Quality Plan, Independent Assurance Program Plan, Statistical Sampling and Testing Program Plan for the CHSRA, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

I worked as a Structural Materials Representative for the Self-Anchored Suspension (SAS) span portion of the bridge. I worked on the Orthotropic Box Girder (OBG), tower and cable at the project site in Oakland, California. I have extensive knowledge of the California Standard Specifications and special provisions, as well as the Office of Structural Materials – Practices and Procedures Manual (OSMPP). Representing the Office of Structural Materials - Materials Engineering and Testing Services (METS) division, I assisted Caltrans Construction. I routinely meets and is a liaison between Caltrans Structural Representatives (SRs), the Resident Engineer (RE) and the Contractor, along with the fabricator and design teams. I strove to give solutions and move the project forward in a timely manner and within budget.

-Responsible for implementing and managing Caltrans’ Office of Structural Materials (OSM) Programmatic Assessment Program. -Made engineering decisions, through inspections and assessments, of structural materials’ compliance to Caltrans’ Standard Specifications and contract requirements. -Was also responsible for revising and updating the OSM practices and procedures manual to meet federal requirements. -Built and maintained the online database where the vast majority of OSM’s Quality Assurance information is stored. -Developed new programs to improve the efficiency for all users and managers of this database

-Manages 15 person crew across 4 lines in packaging of General Mills Yoplait product-Leads Cleaning, Inspection, and Lubrication activities across 3 shifts -Ensures product integrity through master sanitation scheduling

-Led 10-person team managing $40 million SABER contract, including designs, cost estimates, and construction/repair projects for Nellis/Creech AFB, NV and 2.9 million acre testing and training range. -Engineer project lead for deployable heavy operational repair squadron supporting $38 million in construction projects in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Qatar. -Managed over 20 construction projects worth over $4 million from cradle to grave supporting Operations ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI FREEDOM, including creating and updating materials and project costs.-Led 3 programs that managed stewardship of natural environment and compliance with US Forces Japan environmental standards.
