I am a full stack developer responsible for the development and maintenance of the online inventory tracking system used both internally and by Audit Logistics clients, warehouses and general contractors.Most of my time is spent implementing new features and bug fixes for our website, including:- Creating and optimizing the queries and stored procedures (SQL Server 2008 R2) used by our web application (.NET 4.7).- Implementing the necessary business logic and data structures to display and manipulate business data (C# 7.0).- Designing the UI layer using both traditional .aspx markup and server-side manipulation along with client-side scripts/CSS to improve the both responsiveness of the site and overall user experience.- Developing a progressive web application allowing our third party users to seamlessly take and upload photos of shortages, damage, or other issues with their smartphone (MVC, Razor, Bootstrap, JQuery).

Starting at Audit Logistics, LLC as a Project Coordinator in early 2014, I began automating various parts of my job using VBA and web browser automation. After expanding these macros into an Excel Userform "application"​ that became widely used across the company's Freight, Warehousing and Accounting departments I was promoted to Business Analyst and continued to carve out a niche as the automation/in-house IT specialist.In mid-2014 I began learning C# and developed a faster, more stable desktop application using WinForms (the similarity to Excel Userforms eased this transition considerably). Access to the company database removed the reliance on web scraping and I started learning the basics of SQL, the structure of data access classes and the importance of parameterized queries.By the end of 2014 I started work on the company's online inventory tracking system, used by both Audit employees and our various partners in the logistics industry. I currently work as the website's primary developer and have shifted my focus to ASP.NET (Web Forms), CSS, JavaScript and jQuery in order to improve the experience of our users.Constant interaction with the users of our site (both in-office and remotely) has allowed me to produce regular bug fixes, general UI improvements and new features that improve the efficiency and overall experience of each user. Regular QA testing and brainstorming sessions with members of the company helps me understand how users interact with the code I write and how that code might be changed to mesh more readily with any pre-existing intuitions or industry-specific knowledge that may differ from my own.
