Led the development of avionics interface products and technology (Airborne Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553, ARINC, Discrete, Certifiable IP, etc.) deployed in a wide variety of platforms and systems. Responsibilities include system architecture, hardware and firmware design, requirements capture, and design verification and simulation. Also extensively participated in pre-sales and proposal support, factory support, and customer support.I also developed processing, interconnect, and I/O elements for VPX and VME rugged embedded systems.

Hired as the first full-time hardware engineer at Condor Engineering, developed numerous products which heled grow Condor from a small start-up to the industry leader in COTS Avionics. Products included boxes, boards, and IP implementing various avionics interfaces including MIL-STD-1553, various ARINC protocols, serial, discrete, and AFDX. After the acquisition by GE, I continued developing and designing leading edge products including the first avionics Thunderbolt3 interface. I drove the adoption of simulation methods for firmware verification.

I developed hardware and firmware for advanced sonar systems.

I completed the electrical design of several circuit card assemblies used in airborne mission computers. Performed timing analysis, reliability analysis, cosmic ray analysis, and qualification testing on computer systems. I generated software test requirements for operational self-test, environmental testing, and customer acceptance testing.
