The business is a "build to print" precision machining business (castings/forgings) for new engine components supporting the Aerospace, Energy and Military markets. New Product Introductions on leading edge engine platforms with the major OEM's and the DOD were strong contributors to the vast improvement to the business. Product mix enhancement, cost management, lean deployment, supplier negotiations all have been impactful in driving significant bottom line improvement. These enhancements to the business have paved the way to a bright future at Numet due to the great team effort to build the foundation. Significant investments in capital (over $10M over 4 years) and a planned footprint expansion of over 60% now under way.The business was sold to Liberty Hall Capital Partners in November 2019 - mission accomplished!
