🧑🏻‍💻 ABOUT MEI am a designer in its broadest sense. I am passionate about understanding end user challenges and transforming business goals into compelling online stories, converting stores and efficient tools. To make this happen I use whatever tool is best applicable for the problem while managing customer expectations, budgets and timelines. 🔍 FOCUSMy expertise lies in simplifying complex (business or interface) problems and making solutions and information accessible. I believe that talking to and serving end users will always get you the result you want. I like to dive into the business domain and learn all there is to know about what makes or breaks a product. I don’t want to be a supplier of services, but work as a partner based on mutual trust. Due to my skill set I can work independently, but I prefer to work in a team where I can bridge the gap between the client, design & development.🧰 TOOLS OF THE TRADENobody is perfect, and for every flaw I have a workaround tool. Which means I’m a total tool junkie. I keep myself productive with Notion and Atlassian. I design fluently in Sketch, Invision, Figma, Miro, Whimsical, Cinema 4D and Adobe CS Suite (please no Adobe). I program in HTML5, (S)CSS, JS (React/NextJS), Liquid (Shopify) and lastly PHP but only if I have to. 🤝 PROCESSI like to work Agile/Scrum/LeanUX with multidisciplinary teams, but only when everyone is on board (I’m talking to you PO). My front-end experience helps me structure design systems for a smooth handover to the dev team. 📌 WORKSHOPSI like to prepare and/or facilitate workshops to get the most out of everyone’s role in a project. Never sell a project without a Sprint 0 if it is up to me. 🙌🏻 TEAMWORKI don’t do well in hierarchical role based environments, I value equality and mutual respect based on expertise. Responsibility can be handed to anyone who’s up for it, regardless of your role. In a lead role I like to be in a collaborating position where I keep an overview. I value honesty and openness, no hidden agendas or unspoken opinions. 🤓 THINGS I LIKEOk here comes a list of stuff that is somewhere on the nerd spectrum: • Gaming in every form: PC, Playstation, Xbox, Switch and board games;• Photography in general, especially birding.
