I began as a power generation technician by getting my first certification at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD with the Army Reserves in 2009. This started me on the most rewarding and satisfying career path I could never have imagined. Numerous professional and manufacturer certifications later I found myself with a specialty within a specialty, Fuel Solutions. The last seven years as a field tech I had focused on every aspect of an emergency generator's fuel system. From EPA/EPD compliance, JCAHO compliance, fuel control systems, piping and tank repairs, to training fellow technicians and supporting our customers and sales department with developing projects.Even though I am no longer in the field as a service technician, I still find the same satisfaction in finding a solution to our customer's issues. Helping a site overcome EPD violations or a suspected environmental fuel release is a much different beast but no less rewarding as finding that 'ah-ha' light bulb moment when troubleshooting a difficult engine or controller.To say I'm passionate about my chosen profession is accurate. I provide our customers and product support staff with fuel solutions with the same zeal as training new techs, providing technical support, and performing on-site work.
