About Tim W.
With over three decades of sales and sales leadership, working in both vendors and the channel, I have acquired a high degree of expertise in the cyber security market. During the past twenty years I have been both a successful individual contributor and a sales leader building teams in both early stage and hypergrowth organisations. Of the eight vendors I have worked for, four achieved successful exits via acquisition and one went on to become the biggest IPO of 2018(Zscaler). I have been first person on the ground as organisations emerge from stealth in EMEA growing to companies with in excess of two thousand employees. This has given me a unique perspective of everything from early start-ups where everything is tactical and ‘guerrilla warfare’ through to hyper-growth Pre-IPO where a more strategic approach is required. I have run teams globally and significant experience of building teams in Europe and the UK.
