My name is Tim Wei. I was born in Taipei, Taiwan in 1983. Due to my parent’s work placement, we moved to Cebu, Philippines in 1991. I studied English in an American School named Cebu International School. In 1997, our family decided to move to Vancouver, Canada. I attended BCIT majoring in Avionics Engineering.In 2014, I was given a chance to work as an Avionics Engineer with Maxcraft Avionics Ltd. As an Avionics Specialists, my tasks include troubleshooting electrical systems such as Communication and Navigation of aircraft. Our customers include Emergency Services, Regional Airlines and private enthusiasts.In 2015, I returned home to Taiwan to pursue a career in the high tech industry. I joined Taiwan Rapidtek Devices as a Field Application Engineer. I promote RF products to our customers and customize any inquiries to their preference. Our RF products includes from RF switches, probes, cables, and many more. I once promoted products to Apple Inc. in Cupertino, USA and acquired vendor code.In 2016, I joined Cal-Comp Electronics as a RF Design Engineer. I collaborated with Technicolor, Sagemcom, AT&T, DirecTV to design and test Set-Top Box. My specialty is Wi-Fi Noise and Desensitization of RF products. Furthermore, I acquire solutions to meet agency certifications such as FCC. I am also very much involved with building a product from “Zero to Hero,” starting from BOM, Schematics, Layout/Gerber, thermal simulation. Once SMT takes place, I am heavily involved in Lab/DVT, FGR/PVT all the way to Pilot Run and MP. I am constantly learning and acquiring new skills. I am a team player who works very well with others. I believe I am an asset to any organization. Moreover, I am a confident individual who can and will do the job to the fullest. Residing abroad has given me a great advantage over others in terms of English Communication. I score on a TOEIC Exam of 930. I confident my experience can benefit any organization.
