This was challenging due to the necessity of collaborations with different groups of R&D teams ( RF / Analog / Digital / Algorithm / Software ), and with different sites ( UK / France / US / China ) with different cultures. After TTPCom was acquired by Motorola, I continued to lead the local support team to achieve the 3G physical layer IP delivery through the FPGA platform and passing the customer's test criteria of the GCF. Afterwards we helped on the bring up the customer's 1st silicon to achieve the expected performance extended from the FPGA platform we delivered.In the meantime we were engaged in Motorola internal WIMAX platform project

Inside Accusys, I was leading the storage embedded software development on:- Firmware/kernel: My team was in charge of the BSP and OS kernel porting to the MIPS CPU and then developed the world’s first USB/1394/SATA RAID subsystem.- Device driver: We defined the SATA RAID card product spec., architected with ASIC development team and then developed the Windows / Linux device driver.- GUI management: We developed the Java based GUI software for the whole company

In the government-funded R&D institute, I worked in two projects: - WinCE embedded software development: As a member of the WinCE technical center formed by Microsoft and CCL, I was working on boot loader, device driver porting and software application developing. We had delivered the first WinCE-based AutoPC prototype in Taiwan. I also worked with Gemplus to develop their Smart Card Reader WinCE driver.
