System Safety Officer/ Assistant Director
CurrentDirect the Safety and Environmental programs for 6 hospitals and 32 outside clinics. Oversee OSHA, EPA, Joint Commission and CMS programs giving guidance as required. Direct the hazardous waste programs for all facilities as required by law. Work with all managers, Directors and senior management providing them support and advice as required for all federal, state and local regulations. Provide training and guidance to all employees and staff. CSHP, OHST.CEA, Registerd Safety and Environmental Manager. Maintain the OSHA 300 log for 6 facilities and 32 outpatient facilities. Oversee the patient lift program known as SMART. Provides safety information for the new orientation program, provide guideness to the construction contractors for ISLM and fire safety.
