Managing apartment building projects on site from basement stage through to handover, my roles included the following:• Completely oversee the entire construction from project establishment through to handover.• Prepare budget for construction project.• Tender trade packages for the project including all contracts administration work.• Prepare scopes of works and award subcontracts within budget parameters.• Prepare and maintain project program throughout construction.• Manage onsite trades from initial demolition through to handover of apartments to purchasers including defect rectification.• Take off quantities, order materials and organize logistics eg trucks, cranes, personnel etc.• Liase with Development Manager (Director), Design Manager, Building Surveyor, Engineers, Council and Authorities.• Ensure that all onsite OHS paperwork including SWMS, Inductions, Plant Registers etc are up to date.• Ensure that all workers on site are performing tasks in a safe manner in accordance with safety regulations and SWMS.• Ensure that all work is being carried out to a high quality standard.• Sign off on subcontractor and supplier invoices, closely monitoring the budget and forecast costs.

Contract Control Services Pty Ltd ( www.contractcontrol.com.au ) is a Tier 3 commercial builder in Melbourne which works on wide range of projects with clients including Rio Tinto, Crown Casino, Essendon Football Club, Qantas and multiple schools and universities.My role as a contract administrator involved the following tasks on multiple projects simultaneously:• Preparation of project budget and cashflow forecast.• Letting of all sub contract and supplier packages for the project.• Preparation and execution of Sub Contract Agreements including Scope of Works.• Processing all subcontractor progress claims, variations, EOT claims, RFI’s etc.• Preparing and submitting all client progress claims, variations, EOT claims and RFI’s.• Liaising with project managers, clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.• Attending and minuting site meetings.• Preparing monthly financial forecast reports.• Tracking and filing all internal and external documentation and correspondence in accordance with ISO 9001 accredited Internal Management System.

Metrobuild Pty Ltd ( www.metrobuild.com.au ) is a property development/construction company which specialize in building luxury apartments in Toorak. My role in the company is to work with the project manager to ensure that the projects run smoothly and within the budget constraints. This involves being onsite managing subcontractors, ordering and organizing materials, quality control through the structural, façade, fitout and defect stage of construction. I also had offsite duties which included contract management, financial forecasting, budgeting, costing and programming.
