- Extended the work done on the 61850 test server to create a test client to validate an integrated server application. This client was flexible enough to be run from GUI, RPC, CLI or Python directly. This allowed the developers to reproduce and investigate protocol bugs as well as create and automate test cases that other tools would not allow.- Lead developer on the 60870 protocol integration of our product. - Investigated issue reports and enhancement request and implemented fixes across a range of protocols and new product targets platforms. - Supported conversion of our processes to agile methodologies.

- Modified our in house serial kernel driver to capture serial packets as if they were network packets and store them in pcap format for later analysis. - Developed protocol driver for GOOSE communications. Participated in code reviews (C++/Python/.Net) - Designed and implemented a new feature that allowed the serial protocols (server and client) to be tunneled over an SSL connection. This included designing the configuration tables in PostgreSQL as well as designing a network emulation layer that worked with existing serial comms infrastructure.- Developed a simple 61850 server for validating features of the client implementation on our product. This was used by developers and testers to replace other tools which were hard to automate to provide test coverage.

- Implemented functional test scripts in custom config files parsed by python .These scripts were based on internal specifications and protocol standards documents (DNP). - Participated in test specification and code reviews.- Extended the test system to allow testing of server/client infrastructure of an entirely different protocol. This extension was used by developers as well to increase unit test coverage prior to release to the test team
