Based in Edinburgh, Poppyscotland, a charity affiliated with the Royal British Legion, provides advice and support to the Armed Forces community in Scotland. In 2013 the charity opened a welfare office in Inverness to extend this provision to the Highlands of Scotland, an area with a strong tradition of military service. Here I fulfill all admin responsibilities for the four-strong team, act as first point of contact for all clients and visitors, and take care of facilities and IT issues.
