Act as the primary service owner for the daily pipeline that processes nearly 3TB of data for the Partner Graph/Titan API data store. • Load and transform disparate data sets by leveraging various big data technologies. This includes Spark, Hive and Kafka in the AWS environment. The ETL is written in Java and uses Spark and runs on clusters managed within Qubole.• Use a NoSQL database (Elasticsearch) as the primary storage engine that feeds our API layer used by the front-end application. • Additionally, provide persisted data storage in s3 and available for query in Hive tables.• Provides on-call production support and job scheduling/monitoring via AirFlow.• As part of a large application development team, use Jira and Agile principles to translate complex functional and technical requirements into scalable technical solutions.• Optimization of the data pipeline.

Lead the project to setup the team’s cloud environment in Qubole. By using modern technologies, including Presto, Spark and Quoble Notebooks, was able to improve operational efficiencies and unlock previously unavailable insights. Trained the team on how to use the new technology, specifically held workshops on using Spark and integrating Presto with Tableau. Also worked with the Analytics Engineering team to drive the business requirements to meet the data needs of the Partner Success organization.

Act as the key point person for all financial reporting that is created, stored and maintained in the data warehouse. Responsible for full life-cycle development of new processes and enhancements, including requirement collection, model design, ETL, testing and deployment. Design and build reports, dashboards and certified data sources using Tableau. Perform complex ad hoc analysis and make recommendations to Executive Leadership. Maintain legacy OLAP multi-dimensional cubes and SSRS reports while these are in process of being migrated to the new data platform.
