Responsible for building out Restrata's partnerships programme, setting strategy and identifying key partners with whom to develop enhanced security solutions to deliver value to Restrata and our partners by improving the solutions available to the market to achieve greater operational resilience.

• With overall responsibility for 20 strong Northern Europe team, led team through a change management project to merge with other regional teams; formed European regional team while preserving existing and integrating new headcount meaning no operational disruption and quality standards were maintained throughout the process.• Led team to recruit and train new headcount, and integrate with existing team members to ensure activation of 24/7 security operations centre within budget, and on time.• Gave threat assessment and operational advice and assistance to travelling populations of over 9,000 corporate clients; ensured team has been able to respond to multiple significant security incidents, including Paris and Brussels terror attacks, and support both individuals affected by event, and advise on appropriate actions by client organisations to ensure they have taken right decisions appropriate to their business and prevailing threat.• Commercially responsible for ensuring all sales support requests for client meetings and tender responses are met; ensured Northern Europe region had most successful financial year in group in FY15/16.• Recognised by business as a lead security and risk subject matter expert; frequently asked to speak to media including the Financial Times, BBC and Sky News.

• Assessed clients’ risk management processes, and delivered action plans for improvement; ensuring companies’ risk management processes were more appropriately tailored to support international operations. • Led on development of methodology to review companies’ travel risk processes, including engagement with HSE advisory bodies (IOSH) on development of industry best practice to ensure consulting support to clients was of the highest standard resulting in improved processes and resilience for clients.• Developed crisis escalation plans for clients in Africa, Europe and Middle East. This ensured clients operations in volatile areas were more resilient and less likely to suffer business interruption due to deteriorating security or political environment. • Led incident management teams to support clients during multiple political and security crises in Middle East and Africa; ensured clients prepared to respond to evacuating client staff from country where necessary.• Commercially supported the sales team to drive growth in new market in Nordic region, which saw over 20% growth year on year.

• Delivered two most financially successful years for Algiers office by identifying areas for cost saving, strengthening existing client relationships as well as winning significant new business.• Trained, developed and mentored team of Algerian consultants to drive utilisation and grow revenue stream of embedded security management teams• Managed relationship with Algerian business partner, which was essential to office’s continued commercial success. • Stabilised in-country team after period of change by addressing areas for development, reallocation of roles and improved communications.

• Managed all contracts with clients needing embedded security managers; provided appropriately qualified staff to clients operating in high risk environments to allow them to safely conduct operations.• Maintained pipeline of available security managers to ensure all client requests for embedded support met on time; maximised all commercial opportunities. • Project led on delivery of site security reviews for business services client in several West African countries; allowing client to roll out operations in region on time.• Developed and implemented new security procedures for client in South Sudan after crisis incident; ensured operations able to resume at full capacity with minimal disruption to business.

• Ensured all in-country teams appropriately staffed, including meeting short notice staffing demands to maintain service of multi-million pound contracts. Identified and recruited suitably qualified personnel to join in-country Armed Protection Teams (APTs) and liaised closely with the in-country team to ensure upcoming demands known or anticipated.• Project managed delivery of critical equipment on time within budget to ensure APTs in Iraq were appropriately equipped.• Recruited, equipped and deployed 100 strong guard force from Fiji to Iraq within 30 days to meet government funded project deadline; allowed US government development project to start on time, with no financial penalties incurred.
