Current•Primary responsibility on hire was to clean up a group that had no controls and was overstaffed with inappropriate resources.•Responsible for full cycle of all aspects of divisional financial information and processing.•Ensure all audit requirements are met, including 52-109 requirements.•Manage all aspects of recruiting, training and management of human resources for the group.•Monitor and manage all aspects of cash flow, accounts receivable, collection of outstanding receivables, AP and project revenue.•Responsible for timely preparation and dissemination of monthly, quarterly and annual financial packages.Accomplishments to date:•Reduced head count from 36 full time resources to the current 23 resources with an anticipated additional reduction of 2 resources in early 2014 generating $1M annualized savings post severance.•Replaced an additional 7 positions with resources with greater experience while still improving departmental morale.•Reconciled 190 GL accounts that had not previously been reconciled for 6-12 months.•Consolidated and closed 40 bank accounts ensuring better controls and ability to reconcile.
