I maintain Windows and Linux (Red Hat and SUSE) servers and networks that control the sensors and cameras on the Arizona southern border. This position requires that I use tools from IBM, Cisco, Harris, Symantec, Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle, Maximo, Remedy, and other Linux admin tools.

As the Arizona Regional Lead/Network Engineer III, I supervised 8 technicians across the Arizona and Mexico border. I supported a 24 x 7 LAN and associated applications. Diagnosed, troubleshoot, and upgraded workstations and servers. Provided day-to-day administration for Novell 6.5 and Windows 2003 Server. I did desktop support on Windows XP and Windows 2000 Pro systems. Managed messaging software consisting of MS Outlook, and Lotus Notes. Disaster Recovery software utilized with Veritas Backup Exec. System Management Software used is Tivoli and Remedy.

Install and support Cisco routers, switches, and IP phones. Maintain all Microsoft Windows 2000 workstations and Windows 2003 servers. Do desktop imaging and backups of all the servers.
