My name is Tim Wright; I have been involved in the kitchen industry 24 years, importing European Kitchens for 20 of those. I grew up in a family with an insatiable appetite for beautiful furniture. My parents were successful Antique Dealers in Melbourne. My love for furniture making grew stronger when I began my carpentry/furniture making apprenticeship at age 17. A couple of years after completing my apprenticeship I set up my own business, making bespoke furniture from Beautiful Australian reclaimed timber. Most of the pieces I created were commissioned. My love of design grew stronger after travelling throughout Europe. I opened my own design studio in Swan Street, Richmond, designing and importing European Kitchens. I met my current business partner 12 years ago, we set out supplying European kitchens to multi residential apartment developments. Fast track 7 years, I am now the Principal Designer for European Kitchen Group in City Road, South Melbourne. We specialize in affordable, up-market European kitchens for the Australian market. My passion for beautiful furniture burns stronger than ever.
