From a very early, Tim was introduced to the unlimited world of building and design in his homeland of England. This lead him to entering this profession at only 15-year-old with a 4-year modern apprenticeship in Carpentry and Joinery. The next 4 years would be spent working along-side some industry leaders restoring some of Britain’s Historic Stately homes. Tim spent a stint in South Carolina after this, learning and being immersed in the building profession in a State known for its historic and well-crafted architecture. Next was off to Australia to spend 6 years adding to his skill set as he worked on internationally known venues like the Opera House and ANZ Stadium in Sydney. After an already long run in the building profession around the world, it was time for Tim to find a place where he could establish a home and begin building a company he could instill all of the values and skills he had learned and developed in his journeys. Halifax was the place and over the last 8 years, he has been doing just that. Opendoor Construction is the compilation of so many experiences and skillsets amongst its team. The strengths that Tim brings to this team are invaluable, and I think his clients would agree. Not only does Tim offer an extensive knowledge of the industry, his ability to manage trades, maximize process efficiencies and his on the spot problem solving skills, have proved time and time again to be an asset in seeing so many successfully completed building projects.
