I qualified with distinction as a doctor in London in 1997, obtained my PhD from Imperial College in 2009, my FRCP in 2018 my SFHEA in 2019 and my PFHEA in 2023. I obtained distinction in the Cambridge University Medical Education PG Cert in 2021, and then worked as a course tutor at Cambridge University. For much of the last decade I have worked as a consultant Neurologist and headache specialist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square London. I currently mainly work in medical education, and I am a course director for both UCL's distance learning MSc/PG Diploma/PG Cert course in clinical neurology and the iBSc in Clinical Neurology & Brain Sciences, based at Queen Square London.
