My challenges as Creative Director for 2000 A.D. Inc. involved a total marketing and product image makeover for a company that relies solely on internet and local networking to generate business. Within the past 2 1/2 months, I have created new company marketing imagery including logo, business cards and other print media components. I have completely updated the website including design, product and text. I have created and distributed marketing videos and updated all online content available through professional industry affiliations and dot com service providers.As a senior visual merchandising executive for Macy's, my responsibilities required effective communication skills, as well as a thorough understanding of conceptual space planning including; fixture assignment and department layout. I am proficient at the art of merchandise presentation, from determining vendor/ lifestyle flow & adjacencies within a family of business, to impacting product or category presence by enlisting the appropriate presentation technique.My direct interaction with the merchant/ planning organization combined with a solid background in visual merchandising offer comprehensive retail experience.My immediate goal at 2000 A.D. Inc. is an intensification of marketing efforts for the remainder of 2009.
